I finally gave in and I am going to start something new today, the White Tara is coming along way to slow and holding me up.  I think I might do a new Beatles painting!

Finally put some stuff in my Etsy Store

This is going so very slow

I am just not getting very far on this

 I really think I need to stop working on this and work on something new.

 I believe I put constraints on myself by making my outline so dark (it was the only pencil around at the moment) and I believe it is starting to bore me.

Will play with some charcoals or pastels later I think.

Polychromos and turpentine are killing me

I bought a set of polychromos pencils I love them but this method is quite tedious and the constant layering is hurting my wrist. I would quit but I like the way it looks. But this is such a SLOW process, I may have to start something else so I can get break. Time to break out the pastel chalks.

Moved for an Artistic boost!

Damn this art block - I decided to give it a good swift kick in the ass and I moved to a city with a very high art community.  So here I am in Atlanta!  I got everything set up and ready to work and I will tonight!!  I found a job and it keeps me pretty tired but I need to get to work on my art because I am not me with out art in my life!!  There is art everywhere here!  Beautiful paintings on the sides of buildings its amazing and art museums and so much stuff and so little time - I must make time!!!!!!!

The light in here is truly horrible for taking pictures of artwork so my guess is its probably horrible for doing artwork!

A Christmas Gift for Chey

I do not usually draw people or anything like that but I was making a christmas gift there are more pictures of the this to come - I will try to get them up tonight since I just finished the cut work and applying it to the mirror. I am not happy with this drawing but the girl it is for will be and I guess that's whats important.  Back to animals and stuff for me!!!
